Is trim as strong as bud?
While the THC percentages will be less than those of the main buds of the plant, trim is extremely high in trichomes. As a result, trim creates a much more relaxed and manageable smoking experience, and thus is a favorite of many smokers who feel the higher quality bud is too powerful or want something to smoke during the day without losing functionality.
Will the trim work for edibles right after opening the package?
To get the most potency possible from baking, we suggest baking the trim in a low temperature oven until all the cannabinoids have been activated.
Are there ways to extract kief/dry sift using this trim?
Yes. We source our trim from top shelf cannabis varieties that have lots of sugar leaves on them that are filled with crystals. By using: a sifter or a multi-chambered grinder, you'll be able to easily create your own potent kief at a fraction of the price.
If I feel like smoking trim is harsher than bud; how do I fix it?
The reason that trim burns quicker than bud is due to the fact that it's composed of smaller pieces of foliage. Many people take care of this by adding a little bud to their mix or by using a bong. This helps smooth out the smoke while allowing you to continue saving money per session.
Are the bags mostly made up of fan leaves/stems?
No, our THC trim is almost entirely made up of sugar leaves and shake (small particles) off of the buds.
