A few reviewers did however report a more relaxed, sleepy feeling when using this strain, so the impact cannot be guaranteed for each consumer. How Long Does the Use of Jack Herer Typically Take to Wear Off? Due to variables such as individual tolerance, type of product consumed and method of consumption, there are many different opinions regarding how long the effects of Jack Herer typically last. While the name "Jack Herer" identifies a specific strain of marijuana, it does not guarantee that each subsequent harvest will be identical. Several factors can affect the end-product, including: - • Specific phenotype of the plant - • Cultivation methods and conditions - • Amounts and types of cannabinoids (THC) - • Terpenes - • Storage methods This means that two batches of what is called "the same strain" could potentially produce vastly different experiences for a consumer. It was named after Jack Herer who is known both for his activism, and for writing “The Emperor Wears No Clothes,” a book about hemp. The Jack Herer was developed by Sensi Seeds out of the Netherlands. If you’re interested in learning how Jack Herer compares to many of the more famous hybrids, Haze strains, and recent high-THC flowers, then visit our complete Canna City [strains catalogue](/strains/) where we’ve included all the strains’ genetics, their aromas, and flower descriptions. ### The Jack Herer Strain Genetics This strain includes the traditional Haze genetics along with Northern Lights #5, and Shiva Skunk.
